What’s the weather like?

November the best time to visit Antigua. Days are mostly sunny with fresh, spring-like temperatures. Expect daytime highs in the mid 70s°F (around 22–24°C) and cooler evenings 50s°F (10–13°C).

During the day, think light and breathable—dresses, linen pants, button-downs, or short sleeves. For the evenings, bring a sweater or light jacket to stay cozy.

How do I get around antigua?

Antigua is best explored on foot. For longer distances, you can use Uber or local tuk-tuks. On Sunday, we’ll provide transportation from the ceremony to the reception and back.

Money and currency

We recommend exchanging dollars at the airport or banks in Antigua. ATMs are widely available, and most hotels and restaurants accept credit cards. The currency is the Quetzal (Q). Approximate rate: Q8 = $1 USD.
Some places accept USD, but paying in quetzales usually gets you a better rate.
